Summary/Abstract: This text will consider the independent path of development of the Republic of Azerbaijan in political terms and the development of Azerbaijan as an independent player on the energy map of the world. Special attention is paid to the positioning of Azerbaijan as an independent player on the energy map through the use of foreign investments and the interaction of Azerbaijan with foreign geopolitical players in the field of security and energy.
