The Ideological Development of IMRO after the First World War (1919-1944). Part One 1919-1928

Summary/Abstract: The study follows up the ideological development of the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization in the period 1919-1924, when T. Alexandrov was the leading IMRO figure, in the ideological arsenal appeared new formulations which were of a rather tactical character: solving the Macedonian Question within the framework of Federal Yugoslavia, giving up the revolutionary means of struggle and backing up the objectives of the Comintern through the May Manifesto. In the period 1925-1928 was outlined a return to the traditional ideological line, laying down the foundations of fighting by terrorist actions.
