Summary/Abstract: The article presents the qualitative results of a research carried on 92 preschool education professionals from Sibiu County. Research was focused on risk and resilience factors influencing social inclusion of preschool‑aged children with special educational needs. Professionals were divided into two samples: first group contained preschool educators and the second group contained other preschool professionals (psychologist, speech therapists, support teachers and social workers). We focused on comparing the manner in which the two groups perceive and define the risk and resilience factors. The mixed analysis resulted in five themes representing five main categories used by professionals when referring to the factors.
