Russian studies and emigration. New Forms of Research and Didactics in Polish Slavic Studies

Summary/Abstract: The Slavonic studies occupy a very important and strong position in humani-ties. They represent not only the object of the research, but also a specific universi-ty methodology and a cluster of teaching methods. At present the link between Slavonic studies and cultural studies explicating the phenomenon of culture and its transformations is very strong. The new phenomenon which appeared at the Cra-cow University in the sphere of methodology are Russian area studies. In the structure of Russian area studies an important position is occupied by emigrantology.
