Summary/Abstract: In the study on the philosophy of Abdulah Šarčević my intention is to show the two fundamental principles of his philosophy, the principle of the freedom and the principle of the truth. In the dispute with philosophical tradition and with the philosophers of modern and postmodern, Šarčević articulates the importance of the mentioned principles for the life of today’s man and the contemporary humankind, because these principles enable us to overcome the catastrophic and necrophilic opinion and praxis. In the text was presented how in Šarčević’s philosophical thinking the freedom and the truth move the man and humankind to overcome the old Greek logical forms and how they introduce them in a new logical form (Ludwig Wittgenstein). It will be evident in the Yugoslavian context after World War II and in the contemporary European and the global context.
