Summary/Abstract: The research in this paper shows if there are conceptual metaphors in B/C/S and their linguistic expressions to conceptualize happiness, that are similar or equal to the examples of conceptualization of happiness in the English language. It is supposed that the conceptualization of the abstract term of happiness is similar in both languages, and that the term causes creation of metaphors that are more universal, or that are conceptualized more similarly in many languages. The theoretical scope is mostly based on works of Z. Kövecses, G. Lakoff and M. Johnson. The English language and its examples are the starting point for the research, i.e. the English examples of conceptual metaphors, then the appropriate examples are also sought after for the B/C/S language. B/C/S examples are extracted by Google browser that provides all online data of the corpus.
