Summary/Abstract: The media are a means of information, but also a means of influencing the perception of public opinion. In the context of political communication, they represent a means by which the views and opinions of potential voters, sympathizers and the general public are created. Although traditional media have some advantages, the press, television and radio have lost their primacy in the context of informing the public in recent decades. Thus, political entities that include both political parties and political individuals began to present their activities through social networks. Thanks to modern trends and the development of modern technologies, online media in the context of communication, presentation of propaganda and persuasion constantly bring certain novelties. In this regard, the aim of this paper is to point out the importance of social networks in political communication.
