THE TERRITORY OF THE CITY OF MEDIAȘ FROM PREHISTORY TO THE ROMAN AGE THROUGH ARCHAEOLOGICAL DISCOVERIES

Summary/Abstract: The Territory of the city of Mediaș from preisthory to the roman era throught the prism of archaeological discoveries. Summary. The present study aims to carry out a brief review of all representative archaeological finds from the area of the city of Mediaș from ancient times until the Roman era. The territory of the municipality of Mediaș and its adjacent areas have been densely populated areas since ancient times. Evidence of this reality is primarily the multitude of ceramic fragments, monetary hoards or the discovery of various archaeological artifacts dating to historical periods prior to the Roman one.
