Summary/Abstract: Terrorism is considered to be one of the most serious threats in the world today. One of the most frequent motivations for its use is the accomplishment of a mission to spread religion understood in a very specific way. The aim of this article is to catalogue known cases of Poles or people of Polish origin who took part in the global Salafi-jihadist project and to understand their motivations, their way of radicalization. Finally, it is an attempt to assess the risk of Islamist terrorism in Poland.
