Summary/Abstract: Attitudes toward homosexuality varies during written history, from ancient Greeks who does not have even a term to describe it, to the Middle Ages when it was considered an anomaly, which was being heavily punished. In relative recent history, numerous barbaric treatment methods have been created all united under the same umbrella namely conversion therapy with no net results, moreover causing harm and sufferance. Today, homosexuality is no longer consider a psychiatric disorder, being no more mentioned in the last editions of DSM and ICD, now being viewed as a normal variation of sexuality. Also, the attitudes regarding homosexuality varies among religious believes, cultures, and education; stigma, labelling and prejudice still rising walls and divide the layers of society.
