Summary/Abstract: In Spinoza's Ethics, he explains what human’s freedom is, how we can achieve freedom, how we can control our emotions, and how we can build our lives through good encounters. Spinoza's thoughts on freedom give us clues about the meaning of alienation as well. The aim of this study is to evaluate the alienation and illusion of freedom arised from fashion in the context of Spinoza's approach to types of knowledge.
