The (Re-)creation of a place: intentional community and cultural foundation in Poienărei, Argeș

Summary/Abstract: The project interposes in the ”modernisation” process of the rural space to improve this approach. Supporting the continuity and the (re-)invention of contemporary village, the site was chosen in a less touched area by acute wishes of modernisation, unnatural evolution, both from the ethnographical and architectural points of view. The idea of the project starts from the ” less is enough” collocation (Pier Vittorio Aureli, Less is enough: On Architecture and Ascetism) by which we have to understand the change as a moral aspect of personal example, an individual attitude, which is going to collect and fructify.
