Summary/Abstract: The problem of the non-quality and kitsch in children´s art covers not only necessary research aims but also the formulation of didactics tools for practice. This paper researches the possible ways how to open the problematic questions about the quality and non-quality of children´s books for the youngest generation. The goal of these considerations means better understanding the artistic and aesthetic value (in the art and out of them), to identify the kitsch signs in a such way that child´s reader (perceiver) would be able to decide on his own about contact with some expression. The awareness concerns the medium of children´s books with non-quality signs such as the text or pictorial expression with kitsch signs. The paper has more intentions to demonstrate some didactic eventualities and to be inspiring researchers and teachers for the future however tries to formulate some concrete suggestions on how the demonstration of non-quality and kitsch especially in image, text, and paratext of children´s books is possible. The process how to get concrete impulses to practice is possible just with specific conditions. The relationship between adults and non-quality and kitsch is the most important, and the ability to be opened to the idea, that bad books exist and influence children and that there is a need to identify them. In other words, it is necessary for the role of the book´s educator or mediator to be confident that this kind of education makes sense.
