Volunteering and role of volunteer coordinator work at the Baptist Church Social Methodological Centre

Summary/Abstract: Giving selflessly is part of Christian life. The Baptist Church, always lived by Jesus’ command: love and serve your neighbour. In 2017, the Baptist Social Methodist Centre was established, in which volunteerism had to be rearranged with 30 volunteers. To complete our work of methodology, a thorough professional knowledge of the care system and the inclusion of volunteers was required. We train our volunteers to work both in and outside of the institution. In addition to recruiting, training, and employing volunteers, the volunteer coordinator’s job is to strengthen the existing dialogue and collaboration between Baptist volunteers, congregations, and service institutions.
