Summary/Abstract: In this study, the attitudes of teachers working in Van province towards refugee students were examined in terms of various variables. The Refugee Student Attitude Scale (Refugee Student Attitude Scale) was used to collect data in the study. The study was conducted with 166 teachers, 76 females, and 90 males, working at various levels in the province of Van. t-test for gender, whether there is a refugee student in the class; One-way analysis of variance was performed for professional experience and school-level variables. According to the research findings, it was found that the level of teachers' attitudes towards refugee students did not differ according to their professional experience and whether there were refugee students in their class. While there was no statistically significant difference in the total score of teachers in terms of gender variable and in communication and compliance subdimensions, it was found that the attitude scores of female teachers were statistically significantly higher in the sub-dimension of proficiency. While there was no significant difference between the groups in the communication dimension of the scores of the teachers working in the refugee student attitude scale according to the school level variable studied, it was found that the attitude scores of the teachers working in primary and secondary schools were significantly higher than the teachers working in high schools in terms of compliance dimension, proficiency dimension, and total scores.
