Summary/Abstract: This study was carried out according to the opinions of administrators and teachers to determine the effects of the competences of the administrators working in educational institutions to cope with the crisis, their crisis management skills, and the methods they prefer to use in crisis situations that they encounter on the quality of education.The research is a descriptive study using the scanning model. Target population of the study was established by the tenured teachers and administrators affiliated to the ministry of national education in Beylikdüzü, İstanbul. The research sample consists of 255 teachers and 138 administrators determined with disproportionate staff sampling technique by using target population of the study in 2019-2020 academic year. The "Crisis Management and Resolution Skills of School Administrators" scale, which was prepared by using the "Crisis Management Skills of Primary School Principals" scale developed by Aksu and Deveci (2009), was applied to the participants. According to the observed results of the study administrators think that their skill of crisis management are generally at a high level, however teachers think that there is a fairly low rate of crisis management of administrators. The opinions of teachers and administrators significantly differ from each other as their seniority, age and whether they specialize in crisis training or not. When administrators who had crisis training were considered, their different skills of crisis management were observed. Due to the variability and intensity of crisis in schools and as a highest authority different attitude of the administrators who received crisis education and those who didn't and insufficient number of studies in this topic, the study was done.
