Values, Dimensions and Objectives of Intercultural Education

Summary/Abstract: In an age where one of the most frequently used words is change, the values on which the ancient Greeks based their existence - True, Good, Beautiful - remain unalterably relevant. The historical developments marked by the three great modern political revolutions (English, American and French), however, added others aimed at consolidating the strong core of the value framework on which the current European cultural model is based; these new values are legality, liberty, equality, brotherhood/solidarity and the Christian sense of the sacred.
