Summary/Abstract: While interdisciplinarity remains desirable in comparative legal scholarship, it entails significant difficulties that researchers should take into account before beginning their research work. These constraints arise, first, from the situation of the interdisciplinary researcher as an individual who is imbued with a specific socialization and who works in a specific environment. Then, it is the situation of disciplines, as singular cognitive, semantic and epistemological paradigms, that complicates any interdisciplinary approach. The text proposes to draw up an inventory of these difficulties while placing some of them in the context of Romanian academia.
