Some thoughts on the legal knowledge and legal education in Romania: status quo and perspectives

Summary/Abstract: This paper is an attempt to illustrate – on a general, abstract, as well as on personal level – some reflections on the legal knowledges and legal education in Romania. Although, always, such reflections lack „convenience” – because are complicated to be carried out by an absolute and necessary „step back” and risk, most of the time, to be, subjectively, „contaminated” – I appreciated that I could try such an „x-ray” especially for considerations regarding the future, a future that cannot be built without an honest and objective evaluation of both past and present.
