Summary/Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has radically changed the European digital landscape, the role of digitalisation and the way in which digitalisation is perceived in European societies and economies and accelerated the pace of transition to digital services. After the COVID-19 pandemic the renewed European aspiration is to pursue digital policies that enable citizens and businesses to enjoy a sustainable and more prosperous digital future, where people are at the forefront of digital transformation.
