Summary/Abstract: On the bases of „Poezijos pavasariai“ rhymed poems the article analyzes the inclinations of consonant rhyme, their psycho-acoustic resemblance; it also represents the hierarchic classification of Lithuanian language consonants and the consistence patterns and features of consonant joining. The results of the research show that the hierarchic classification of consonants, which is formed according to psycho-acoustic resemblance of rhymed sounds, only partly coincides with the phonological classification of consonants.
