Summary/Abstract: The article includes a Polish edition of a manuscript (autograph) by Abraham Firkowicz (1787-1874) which is currently held at the National Library of Russia in Saint Petersburg (F946, op.1 No. 185). The manuscript includes the regulations for students at Karaite schools. The regulations were probably written by Firkowicz about 1833, during his stay in Gözleve, when he was working as a teacher. This manuscript attests to his teaching and educational ideas. It consists of three separate regulations under the following titles: “These are the rules for students who attend my midrash” (folio 1 recto), “These are the rules for midrash, for children of both the rich and the poor” (folio 1 verso), “These are special rules which should be followed by students” (folio 1 verso – 2 recto). It appears to be a book of discipline and good manners for Karaite boys.
