THE SOCIAL ACCEPTABILITY OF THE HEAVYWEIGHT ECOTAX

Summary/Abstract: The primary objective of this analysis is to study the perception of road freight transport users of different categories (motorist, manager, transport department manager, driver) vis-à-vis eco-fiscal systems. It is a question of clearly identifying the tariff measure best accepted by each category and the reasons for this acceptability. Also, a Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA) is carried out in order to highlight the groupings of individuals having a consistent behavior in the face of the implementation of environmental taxes on heavy goods vehicles and the introduction of accompanying policies.
