Considerations on the acquisition of real estate ownership following the noting of possession in the land register

Summary/Abstract: A lesser known way of acquiring ownership of a property is to register the property right, as a result of the 3 years expiration period from the time of registration of possession in the land register. Regarding the constitutive effect of rights by registration of real rights in the land register, this applies only when systematic registration has been completed at the level of an administrative-territorial unit and the land register has been opened for the properties concerned.
