Summary/Abstract: Panna Adorjáni edited the international theatre column of the Playing Area between 2015 and 2017. She sees the Playing Area as a medium that struggles to relate to theatre as such in a new and relevant way, but which still basically operates within the shackles of a traditional structure. She sees her then-self and the Playing Area as similar in the following ways: a tendency to self-exploitation, constant financial insecurity, balancing multiple roles, marginalization, critical thinking, (mostly) female theatrical freelancing.
