Summary/Abstract: Turkish communities have tried to convey the knowledge and experiences to the new generations through mythological narratives, aiming for their state to be permanent in time, in the folk philosophies they have reached with the mythological background, historical infrastructure, traditions, rituals, and the ethical understanding they have shaped with the combination of these elements. The subject of our study is the folkloric basis and metaethical analysis of the Positive/Negative Ethical Value of Persistence in Time. In our study, it is aimed to determine the place of the positive ethical value of being permanent in time in Turkish mythology by revealing the folk ideas in the folklore sense, the propositions in the metaethical sense, and to make an exemplary study in the application of the Folklore Metaetic Theory to the mythological narratives. As a result of our study, which is a first in the field of folklore, in which we applied the Folklore Metaetic Theory to mythological narratives; The phenomenon of time in Turkish mythology, along with a high ethical understanding, as well as being a positive/negative ethical value, has been reinforced with ethical actions expressing an identical purpose and an ideal, and its exceptional place in Turkish folk philosophy has been determined and the exceptional place of our theory in Turkish folk philosophy has been determined. It is exemplified how our works expressing Turkish folk philosophy will be used in studies to prepare the ethical index.
