Summary/Abstract: Purpose - The purpose of this research is to determine the mediating role of competition strategies on the influence of organizational culture to the sustainable competitive advantages in organizations for the greatest 300 customs consultancy and logistic companies established in İstanbul Design/methodology/approach - In this study, sustainable competitive advantages as a dependent variable, organizational culture as an independent variable and competition strategies as a mediating variable are discussed. The population is the greatest 300 customs consultancy and logistic companies established in İstanbul. The scales used are organizational culture, competitive strategies and sustainable competitive advantages, in a five-point likert structure, for which Turkish validity and reliability studies were conducted. Inthe first stage, factors were succesfully reduced as a result of Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA), After that, by using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) for construct validity, the Structural Equation Model (SEM) was estimated in order to determine thecorrelation relations for the model determined in the last stage by showing goodness of fit results. Findings - As a result of SEM, it has been come to the conclusion that there is a mediation role effect of used competitive strategies in the influence on sustainable competitive advantage of organizational culture. Furthermore, organizational culture were found to be increasing effect on competition strategies and sustainable competitive advantages, competition strategies also were found to be increasing effect on sustainable competitive advantages in organizations. Discussion - The result of the research, organizational culture and competition strategies were found to have significantly effective on sustainable competitive advantages and also competition strategies has a mediating role in the relationship between organizational culture and sustainable competitive advantages in organizations. Therefore, the improving of their organizational culture and the having competition strategies are important to provide sustainable competitive advantages for organizations. The research is an original research from point of used variables and relationship between variables. The study can be extended for different sectors and different samples.
