Summary/Abstract: The article presents the scope of changes that the strategic security environment in the Baltic Sea region undergoes as a result of the verification of the “Gerasimov Doctrine” that takes place during the Russian special operation against Ukraine. These analyzes made it possible to propose an original version of changes in the process of educating the personnel of the Polish Navy. In the author’s opinion, the combat training process should be adapted to the prospective formula of Russian naval activity and the modification of political goals towards the Baltic Sea region. The article defines the scope of these transformations and the necessary changes in individual modules of officer training and combat training in the Polish Navy.
