Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of this study is to measure the effect of employees' dark leadership and favoritism perceptions on presenteeism. The research data were collected from 513 employees working in textile enterprises in Malatya province by using the survey technique. In this context, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation and regression analyzes were performed. According to the research findings, a moderate, positive relationship was found between dark leadership and favoritism and presenteeism. On the other hand, a highly significant relationship was found between dark leadership and favoritism. In addition, it was determined that the effect of employees' dark leadership and favoritism perceptions on presenteeism was also significant. Considering the harms of presenteeism, it has been concluded that the struggle of organizations against dark leadership and favoritism is inevitable. This study assists business managers in solving their problems and presents original theoretical information to the literature.
