Summary/Abstract: The EU is considered one of the biggest financial and political blocks globally. Besides unity of geography, the EU seeks to unify the EU digital space by establishing domain name suffix for all European union domain names where all EU domain names end with .eu. This development will create rights and obligations for all EU member states. The question here is to which extent Brexit would affect such rights and obligations. This paper will shed light on the Brexit impact has on the domain names industry in the EU, besides the geographical unit separation over the borderless digital space of the EU.
