Summary/Abstract: In this article, not only the life of Schumann and the musical analysis of the first violin-piano sonata are made, but also the musical personality of the composer and the conditions of its reflection on the work in question. Schumann, who started his artistic career with literature and was greatly influenced by leading men of letters such as Goethe, Shakespeare, Byron and Jean Paul, took his first professional piano lesson at the age of twenty, and due to his right hand injury, he focused on composition studies and matured over time, emerging as a great genius who synthesized literature and music out.The bows and finger numbers used in the musical analysis of the sonata were created by considering the composer's creation conditions, taking into account the passion, excitement and tragic expressions in the work. These are all original finger numbers and bows of the researcher.The great composer never fell in love with being popular in any period of his short life, he helped many young composers including Brahms, Chopin and Mendelssohn to be known, he criticized bad music without hesitation, and he made great innovations and contributions to the romantic period by reflecting the storms and complex emotions in his soul in all his works.Robert Schumann is one of the few composers who can reflect such advanced musical and literary knowledge on his works in such a successful and striking way in the entire history of music. The work, which is the subject of the article, is one of the most beautiful works that can be an example of all the features described.
