Summary/Abstract: This research study is an attempt to analyze the changes that have occurred in the economic situation of small and medium-sized enterprises. The SMEs sector is particularly exposed to the economic, political, social and technological changes that are taking place in today's economy. The article pays special attention to financial liquidity, which is an important factor for companies to survive in difficult times.
