Summary/Abstract: The article describes the general situation of the roma living on the Left Bank of the Dniester, and the manifestation of a discriminatory attitude towards representatives of the roma community. Presented are some of the results of a study carried out by UNHCHR consultants on the left bank of the Dniester in July-August 2020, the findings and recommendations of the UN Senior Human Rights Adviser Thomas Hammaberg, reflected in the 2013 and 2018 Reports, and the start of their implementation through the creation of a network of roma community mediators operating in various localities.
