Summary/Abstract: The interdependence between Russia and Germanyhas also created geopolitical and security concerns forthe EU. Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Germanyneeds to now understand that domestic and Europeanenergy security are intertwined. There are several measuresthat Germany can adopt in order to address this energysecurity dilemma in the short and long term, taking intoaccount geopolitical circumstances at the EU level.
