Summary/Abstract: One of the techniques of operational activities used by police officers is kettling. It involvespolice officers encircling or surrounding a group of people, usually part of a publicgathering. This paper tackles this operational technique from the perspective of bothinternational law and Polish Constitution. It provides an in depth analysis of intertwinedcharacter of variety of regulation regarding the concept of „deprivation of liberty”.
