Summary/Abstract: This article aims to analyze the risks and opportunities that virtual assets present within the capitals that can make up the investment heritage of an economic entity and can constitute an alternative exchange tool to the traditional, fiduciary currency. The use of cyber cash transfer in commercial or investment transactions can be a reliable alternative if close financial supervision is given to the virtual currency, as risks have been identified by the regulatory authorities that it can be used for illicit purposes.
