Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the manifestation of the two sides of the social status of contemporary women from the Republic of Moldova: objective, reflecting the socioeconomic position, and subjective, focused on personal qualities. The study was carried out by applying a self-report questionnaire constructed by the author in order to identify changes in social status. The research group included 70 women: 25-44 years old - 55.7%, 45-62 years old - 44.3%.
