Summary/Abstract: Using the interdisciplinary methodological approach characteristic for separate area of social research and studies, known as ethnics’ studies and nationalism, the author discusses briefly the complex and complicated ethnical problems in Bosnia and Herzegovina. At least three big and important sets of components are interwoven in the paper. One part of the discussion is related to the attempt to present the importance of possible terminological refinement while processing this topic. This indicates to the importance of semantics in science which can also contribute to the penetrating impact of science in social practice. In the central part of the discussion, the author in accordance with scientifically recognized and adopted theoretical model, debates the genesis of ethnic opportunities in and around Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an emphasis on modern history and the present. Greatest attention has been directed towards the place and role of the nation concept and in this connection, the question of divisible sovereignty. The third content set of components has intended to certain aspects of responsibility especially Bosniaks for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dealing with numerous papers of similar topics about Bosnia and Herzegovina, the author herself sees that responsibility in the current time, in the absence of open and comprehensive dialogue necessity between contemporary researchers of this topic. The main part of the reflection concept of responsibilities assigned, of course, to the historical responsibility of Bosniaks. This applies, however, not only to the past of the social community but also to the strategic dimension that the historical responsibility of Bosniaks for Bosnia and Herzegovina could or should have in the present and the future.
