Summary/Abstract: The teaching-learning of the specialized language within the Preparatory Year of the Romanian Language for Foreigners is essential for the future students, master's and doctoral students, who wish to follow study programs entirely in Romanian. Both the teaching staff involved in the program and the students are subject to double challenges, linguistic (issues related to the actual study of the concepts provided in the discipline and their practice, difficulties related to specialized knowledge, etc.) as well as methodical (methods of developing materials, different learning methods depending on various factors, etc.). After a semester of specialized language, students will be able to understand a written or oral specialized text, respectively to write a text using the specialized language and to make an oral presentation in the specialized field. The specialized vocabulary occupies, without a doubt, a privileged place, but is complemented by aspects related to the grammar and discursive structures specific to the field of "mathematics and natural sciences", the field that will be the focus of this work.
