Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of this study is to examine the postgraduate dissertations written on primary school programs in the last ten years since 2012, when the compulsory education period was extended to 12 (4+4+4) years with the amendment of the "Primary Education and Education Law" numbered 6287. Within the scope of this purpose, the dissertations in the National Thesis Center database of the Council of Higher Education were examined with a qualitative research approach and document analysis technique. The sample of the study was determined by the criterion sampling method, which is one of the purposeful sampling types. In this context, the sample of the research consisted of 46 postgraduate dissertations. These dissertations were analyzed based on the variables of publication year, type of dissertations (master or doctorate), university, department, grade level, course, method, data collection tools, and data analysis methods. The findings were presented to the readers with graphics containing descriptive statistics. According to the results of the study, the number of postgraduate dissertations on the subject is insufficient, the master's dissertations are more than doctoral dissertations, most of the studies came from Gazi and Marmara universities, most of them were carried out at the 4th grade level of primary school according to grade levels, dissertations are especially in primary school education and education programs department, and when examined according to subject areas, it was seen that the dissertations made within the scope of Turkish and English courses came to the fore and quantitative research methods were mostly used in dissertations.
