Summary/Abstract: The problem of gerrymandering is one of the most pressing problems of democracy in the 21st century. In this paper, the authors discuss how the problem of gerrymandering affects the electoral process in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, the authors discuss how gerrymandering affects the constitutional principles of democracy and the rule of law. The text analyzes how the current way of defining constituencies in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is an example of gerrymandering. Finally, the authors provide possible solutions to the problem of gerrymandering, primarily in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
