Summary/Abstract: New high school exams are criticized by teachers, students and parents due to capacity of the material, uneven proportion of requirements and stiff criteria of grading, not related to semantic complexity of arts. The way to overcome the faulty areas is to train teachers to analyze and interpret literary and non-literary texts, teach them how to direct students’ presentation performance, as well as to train students to express their views, interests and experiences. Achievement of this aim depends on the dialogue on the value of multicultural connections within literary communication, using both group and individual imagination. The major problem of New Exams preparation is an axiological gap concerning the common system of reference of teachers and students.
