Summary/Abstract: This paper tries to clarify the problem of types of sequences of linguistic units specific to a specialized text and to suggest some solutions for their translation. In the process of translation of specialized texts, the first task of the translator consists of identifying the types of sequences of linguistic units, which may be syntagms, frozen structures or collocations. The following task would be to find the most adequate equivalent of those linguistic units in the target language, which are to be checked in various texts and similar contexts.
