Summary/Abstract: Ethics of Care, Vulnerability and Access to Health Care. Based on the ethical evaluation of a case study, the article refers to the ethics of care in order to articulate two perspectives of health care: the first one aims at medical care remedies, so as the removal of the so called life obstacles, while the second one concern the daily care needed to ensure life continuity. This distinction highlights the limits of discourses that emphasize autonomy and independence, with the purpose of providing an answer for social problems related to vulnerability and dependence.
