Summary/Abstract: Apologists put special emphasis in their writings on cosmological and anthropological interests. For apologists, man is the centre of all creation. The whole world was created for man, who is not just a mere individual or object in it, but a liturgical member of a community. He is a psychosomatic being, created by the One God from two elements – the immaterial soul and the material body. Thus the whole creation unites in him, which is why man is a microcosm in macrocosm. Therefore, man is single personality, or hypostasis made from two positive ingredients – body and soul – that have One God as common Creator, and which unite in the person of man, comprising one ontological unity.
