Summary/Abstract: Modern China represents the permanent effort of expansion through the unification of some communities from Asia that became part of the state and have survived until now, preserving their traditions and customs, but also contributing to the substantial effort that Chinese society has made to become the second power of the world. The process of tribal unification was continuous and led to the social and ethnic configuration we know today. This study is a description of some communities that have preserved their historical identity by conserving their cultural heritage.
