Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of the evaluation of the index of discretisation of grammatical information, as seen on a formal level, in the paradigm of Bulgarian verbs. After creating a matrix model of Bulgarian verbs, I have evaluated the typological index of discretisation, developed by G. Gerdzhikov with regard to the Bulgarian indicative, conclusive, renarrative, and dubitative. My research also provides evidence for the existing link between Gerdzhikov’s indices of discretisation and composition. The following relationship is observed: the higher the value of the index of composition is, the higher the value of the index of discretisation of grammatical information becomes.
