Summary/Abstract: Felski examines how Bruno Latour’s actor-network theory can influence ourunderstanding of literature, especially the relationship between readers and the literarytext. Latour guides us towards a causal concept of literature, one that includes an openfield for multiple interactions or relationships – also on the emotional level – betweenthe reader and the literary work. These interactions go both ways: from the work to thereader and vice versa.
