Summary/Abstract: The paper proposes the model for assessing commercial potential and selection of innovative projects in their mutual competing for funding. Based on literature analysis of methods of assessing commercial potential of innovations and the rules of granting funds for innovation projects, a model and a method of this models construction have been developed enabling the identification of key success factors and the ranking of innovative projects. Verification of the model was based on the analysis of 70 applications for funding the development competitiveness of dental clinics from SME sector. The obtained results allow to conclude that both the model and the method enhance the objectivity, transparency and repeatability of evaluation process of applications in competition proceedings.
