Conscious and unconscious in psychoanalytic therapy and counselling

Summary/Abstract: Different sites of conscious and unconscious presented in the context of psychoanalytic approaches have an effect on the further development of theories of psychological therapy and counseling. Psychoanalytic approaches presented in this article reveal the significance of the concepts of subconscious for the knowledge and treatment of the person, which essence is in penetrating in “depth”, in contrast with the classical concept of psyche, considered only as objective cognition.
